In the big budget Marvel movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker finds his life becomes ever more complex, when everyone learns his greatest secret: That Parker is Spider-Man. After Mysterio (and J. Jonah Jameson) reveal this news to the world, Peter suddenly has everything turned upside down.

But it’s not just a problem of having the cat let out of the bag, Peter is also accused of murder. The revelation that he is Spider-Man, also leads the world to believe he possibly murdered Mysterio.

Soon, Peter finds himself being arrested and questioned by the FBI. And with no legal knowledge, and a life-changing charge of murder hanging over his head, he looks to legal representation to help him out.

That legal representation arrives in the shape of a curious lawyer, who puts in a very brief appearance in the movie. However, that brief appearance lasts just long enough for the audience to learn that this lawyer is a very intriguing individual… with secrets of his own.

But who is Peter Parker’s lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home? And more importantly, why might you have seen him before?

Peter’s Lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home is Matt Murdock – a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen. As well as being a first-class lawyer, Murdock secretly masquerades as the super hero vigilante, Daredevil.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Murdock is played by actor Charlie Cox. If the actor looks familiar, it is because Cox played the role of Murdock in the Netflix television series, Daredevil.

Daredevil ran for three seasons on Netflix and is set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is why Murdock is able to interact with Peter. Prior to his appearance in the movie, the character was previously confined to the Netflix television series only, but since that show ended, he is now able to interact with other corners of the MCU.

So, in answer to the original question, the lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home is Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil.
