Spider-Man has many great villains, but one of the best of the best is Dr. Otto Octavius, aka Doctor Octopus. Since making his debut in comics in 1963, ‘Doc Ock’ has been a constant thorn in Spidey’s side and one of his most notorious adversaries.
In 2004, Doctor Octopus leapt from the printed page to the big screen, to appear in the comic book movie, Spider-Man 2. Here he gained an even greater fan-following, raising his profile in the process.
